How can I alter the default paper sizes in Microsoft Word
Many times when working with Adobe software, for instance in Dreamweaver, there will be instances where you have to define specific paper sizes for forms or documents. This can be done by selecting custom paper on the main page, either under the Document tab or in the Page Setup window should you have one. You may not be able to change the size of your paper in certain instances. If you cannot select a size that you want in this case, you can go to the print menu and change the default size.
In the menu for printing, click the button labeled “sets” next to the word “new size”. A new size will be shown and you can alter it by clicking on it. The button is usually on the bottom of the screen. If you find it here, you have to click OK to proceed to the next step.
Once you have successfully set your custom size of paper, you can go ahead and save this change. You will notice that the new size has been saved in the print driver. To ensure that the application is successfully set-up, you will have to add the new driver onto your printer. Before proceeding, be sure that the new size has been saved if the application was restarted.
